System leaders support
Our FLITE leadership development programs are for individuals identified as having strong potential as future healthcare system leaders.
These are dynamic leadership programs running for up to a year and involve a mix of workshop, case study, seminar, coaching and experiential action-based learning methods.
Leadership FLITE programs are open to leaders currently working in the Victorian health system and involve a selection process that considers your desire and potential for system leadership and executive roles.

Future System Leaders
The program provides a challenging and extended leadership development opportunity, focusing on developing the personal qualities required to lead self and others, strategic and systemic thinking skills, and leading innovation.
The program provides a strong understanding of the Victorian health system context and provides access to a range of current healthcare leaders.
Target audience: Mid-career individuals who are beginning to consider future system leadership roles.
Program status: Applications are closed.
Executive System Leaders
The program provides a challenging and extended leadership development opportunity, over a six-month period focusing on developing the executive skills to lead complex organisational systems and develop workplace cultures that deliver improvements in quality, safety and consumer engagement. The program provides an opportunity to network and learn with other senior leaders.
Target audience: Senior career individuals who have clearly identified a desire to strengthen their capabilities to perform at an executive / CEO level.
