Clinical coding and classifications education
Eleventh Edition ACS 0002 Additional diagnoses and ACS 0010 Clinical documentation and abstraction guidelines
The Eleventh Edition ACS 0002 Additional diagnoses and ACS 0010 Clinical documentation and abstraction guidelines education supports the consistent application of the Eleventh Edition changes to the Australian Coding Standards ACS 0002 and ACS 0010. The document has been updated to reflect changes to ACS 0002 published by IHPA in errata 3.
Clinical coding and classifications bulletins
The clinical coding and classifications bulletin is produced to inform health information managers, clinical coders and other interested parties of changes to health classifications and coding applicable to admitted episodes separated on or from 1 July.
Education documents and feature articles support the work of Victorian health information managers and clinical coders by providing them with additional information where existing coding standards and Victorian Admitted Episodes Dataset (VAED) business rules require further clarification.
