Safer Care Victoria’s Paediatric Clinical Network is seeking a senior paediatric nurse to join its Governance committee and Insight subcommittee and support statewide healthcare improvement for children in Victoria.

The Network works with clinicians and consumers to drive and promote best practice in paediatric care.

Governance committee

The Network’s Governance committee provides guidance and oversight to support the network, represents clinician and consumer member interests, and engages with Safer Care Victoria.

Insight subcommittee

Working in collaboration with the governance committee, the insight subcommittee plays a vital role in defining a set of safety and quality indicators and advises the network on the use of data and evidence.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a senior paediatric nurse, nurse practitioner, nurse unit manager/assistant nurse unit manager or paediatric educator who is:

  • dynamic and collaborative with an interest in improving quality and safety and identifying best practice
  • a strategic thinker with an interest and skills in safety and quality improvement at a local and system-wide level
  • experienced in developing and delivering evidence informed best practice.

What’s involved?

As the Paediatric Clinical Network Governance committee nursing representative you’ll be a regular invitee to committee meetings and will support the network in providing clinical leadership, expertise and advice on the healthcare of children.

As Network’s Insight subcommittee nursing representative you will play a key role in facilitating the identification of, access to and use of meaningful clinical data for children.
