To improve our suite of evidence based guidance Safer Care Victoria is developing a strategy to outline how we provide, implement and evaluate this guidance.

We’re looking for clinicians and consumers to join our evidence based guidance working group and help us develop this strategy.

Who are we looking for?

  • Public and private sector clinicians from metropolitan and regional/rural areas with experience in medicine, nursing, allied health, or clinical governance domains
  • Consumers with an interest or relevant experience in evidence based guidance or patient information.

What’s involved?

As a member of our working group you will:

  • contribute to the development of an evidence based guidance strategy for SCV
  • provide clinical or consumer leadership and advice to SCV on the development and implementation of the strategy
  • help shape how SCV engages with clinicians and identifies topics that require evidence based guidance
  • develop strategies that will help translate evidence based guidance into practice
  • support our ability to measure improvement in patient outcomes and unwarranted variation.
