Clinical/acute care
Governance/leadership

This consultation has now closed.

Safer Care Victoria is developing a new strategy to outline how we deliver evidence based guidance to the healthcare sector – and we want your input.

This strategy will shape our approach to developing clinical guidance for health services, that will ultimately improve the quality and safety of care provided to patients in Victoria.

From simple flow charts to complex clinical guidelines – all of the evidence based guidance that we develop, adapt and share will be underpinned by this strategy.

Why are we developing this strategy?

A big part of our work is addressing unwarranted variation by developing and adapting best practice guidance and supporting Victorian health services to implement it. Much of this work is undertaken through our 11 clinical networks in response to emerging issues.

This strategy will help us to improve the way we deliver this guidance and measure its success.

How can I get involved?

While we’ve undertaken targeted consultation to test different components of the strategy, we’re now looking for broader feedback.

Healthcare professionals and consumers can share their feedback on the strategy by checking out our online consultation:

The consultation closes Sunday 26 May 2019.
