We’re seeking clinicians and consumers to join our critical care clinical dashboard working groups.
This is an opportunity to help critical care units across Victoria to access, share and better understand information on the quality and safety of the care they provide to the sickest Victorians. We’ve got six different working groups to choose from - read on to find out more.
About the dashboard
The Critical Care Clinical Network is developing a critical care clinical dashboard to enable clinical quality indicator data to be collected, accessed, analysed and viewed in one location.
The dashboard will allow users to understand how their critical care unit is performing at a glance and identify future areas for improvement.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for clinicians and consumers who are:
- passionate about improving critical care services in Victoria
- interested in quality and safety data in critical care services
Experience in presenting, using or interpreting quality and safety data is desirable but not essential.
What’s involved?
By joining one of our working groups you will help take the clinical dashboard from concept to reality. You'll be involved in developing the quality and safety content of the dashboard, informing the design and establishing how it will be updated.
You can choose from one of the following working groups, focusing on a different indicator theme:
- Demand
- Supply/Productivity
- Processes
- Outcomes
- Paediatric
- Dashboard – data visualisation.
Each working group will be led by members of the network’s Insight subcommittee and will meet on a regular basis throughout 2019 with some work required between meetings.
