Patient experience and outcomes

Patient-centred care is about treating everyone with dignity and respect, and involving people in decisions about their own healthcare.

Many health services and health professionals already put the patient at the centre of everything they do. But the fact we are still seeing variations in patient experience and outcomes suggests there is more work do.

The clinician's voice

We are collaborating with Monash University to understand clinicians’ views and experiences about patient-centred healthcare.

As part of our ongoing effort to improve patient-centred care in Victorian public hospitals, we are exploring the challenges it presents for clinicians, hospitals and health services.

We are keen to hear from doctors, nurses and midwives who work directly with patients. Please share the survey with these relevant networks.
