Spaces are filling fast for the fetal growth restriction training and education program.
This tailored education program has been developed by a multidisciplinary team of clinical experts. The program is run in collaboration with the Stillbirth Centre for Research Excellence, Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand – Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Alliance and Mater Education.
Places are still available throughout August, September through to November. The program is part of an 18 month pilot that will run until June 2019, with more dates to be added.

Education workshops
These workshops will offer clinicians the chance to build their skills in antenatal detection and management of fetal growth restriction.
Participants will learn about:
- defining fetal growth restriction
- risk assessment
- standardised symphyseal fundal height (SFH) assessment
- diagnosis and management
- neonatal care
- implementation and education.
Train the trainer workshops
Through this two-hour session you will learn how to facilitate the Fetal growth restriction (FGR) workshop, adopt various teaching styles and consolidate knowledge about FGR.
Please note: to complete the train the trainer program you must have attended the FGR education workshop.
