Safer Care Victoria is looking for consumers to help drive a statewide response to improve health outcomes for older people, and those in palliative care.

As part of the Clinical Network expert working groups, members will have the unique opportunity to:

  • help identify and implement best practice care
  • use their expertise and experience to provide leadership and advice to SCV and the department.
     

Applicants must have lived experience relevant to the expert working group aims.

Recognition and response to life limiting illness: Timely inclusion of palliative care services expert working group

Aims: To support clinical recognition of people with a life limiting illness to facilitate timely referral to palliative care services. To consider patient perceptions of, or barriers to engaging with palliative care to increase patient acceptance of referral.

Hip fracture expert working group
