Consumer engagement
Patience experience and outcomes

Applications have now closed.

Ahead of our first Partnering in healthcare forum on 29 and 30 April, we're offering a limited number of supported places for Victorian health consumer representatives to attend.

Our aim is to make this event accessible, especially to those who ordinarily may not be able to attend Melbourne-based events. That’s why we have two sponsorship options available.

Option 1

Free registration (best suited to those who live within the Melbourne Metropolitan area*)

Option 2

Free registration and two nights’ accommodation (best suited to those who live outside the Melbourne Metropolitan area).

Be part of the conference

We also have a limited number of paid* roles at the conference for sponsored health consumer representatives, including:

  • Forum ‘wrap up’ reporters for ‘Day one’ and ‘Day two’: partner with a sector representative to collect, create and share high level spoken reflections
  • Consumer crew: be a contact point for peer networking and support before, during and after the forum
  • Social media ambassadors: share timely, lively and interesting event content on social media during the forum
  • Session MCs and room hosts: introduce and close sessions in breakout rooms

These roles will be paid at SCV sessional rates as outlined in the Partnering with consumers guide.

About the event

The two-day Partnering in healthcare forum will combine inspirational keynotes and practical masterclasses and showcase success stories from clinicians and consumers who are working together.
