Expressions of interest have now closed.

The Emergency Care Clinical Network is looking for new members to join its Insight subcommittee and help identify, analyse and interpret meaningful data to make a difference to emergency care in Victoria.

The Emergency Care Clinical Network works with clinicians and consumers to improve quality and safety in Victorian emergency care settings including ambulance, emergency departments and urgent care centres. 

Who are we looking for?

  • emergency care clinicians or researchers from a nursing, allied health or pharmacy background
  • epidemiologist, biostatistician, data analyst or population health expert/researcher (emergency care interest preferred)
  • consumers with experience as a patient or carer in an emergency care setting.

What’s involved?

As a member of the Insight subcommittee you’ll have the chance to provide expert advice to the network’s Governance committee on evidence and data. You’ll also identify, analyse and interpret data and use this information to participate in decision-making processes to inform the work of the clinical network.The Insight group will be responsible for developing safety and quality indicators and enhancing the availability and use of data to reduce clinical variation.
