Bianca began her role as an Improvement and Innovation Advisor in 2018 with eight years’ experience in change management across Western District Health Service, and other rural hospitals. With a strong technical background in web development and IT systems, she has been responsible for developing new tools and leading teams to adopt new systems and processes.

Working with both clinical and non-clinical staff across the organisation and sub-regionally on a diverse range of improvement initiatives has allowed Bianca to gain an understanding of systems and processes and the importance of people and relationships in leading change.

Recent highlights

  • Completed IHI Improvement Science in Action and IHI Improvement Coach professional development programs
  • Coaching the Clinical Handover project team. This project aims to improve staff and consumer experience at handover
  • Subregional Aged Care improvement project which aimed to amalgamate clinical and finance systems and improve processes.

Why I do what I do

“I am passionate about coaching leaders and their teams to discover, design and implement ideas for improvement and instil confidence in staff to be active change agents for their organisations and beyond.”
