The Stroke Clinical Network is hosting a webinar to outline key aspects of the updated clinical guidelines for stroke management. The guidelines span pre-hospital and acute care, secondary prevention and rehabilitation through to community reintegration and highlight known evidence-practice gaps revealed in the Stroke Foundation audits.
The National Health and Medical Research Council-approved Australian guidelines for stroke management were released by the Stroke Foundation in September 2017. The guidelines have since been updated to reflect the results of thrombectomy trials beyond 6 hours as a pilot of a ‘living guidelines’ approach to regular updates.
