Description
The paediatric Focus on fluids forum showcased current evidence-based fluid management for infants and children.
Attended by more than 150 people across the health sector, the event launched the ViCTOR Statewide Fluid Management Chart and educational video which support best practice fluid management.
Attendees learned about the Statewide Paediatric HealthPathways Project, including management of fluids for children in general practice.
Three upcoming projects were explored at the event, including:
- Reducing clinical variation in paediatric adenotonsillectomy
- Reducing unnecessary prescribing in infant reflux
- Anaphylaxis improvement project.
