As part of WorkSafe’s commitment to collaborating with industry to improve health and safety across the sector, we are pleased to present alongside Safer Care Victoria a webinar on controlling heat stress in healthcare and social assistance. Revised infection prevention and control practices have led to an increase in PPE requirements and use across these sectors.
The wearing of PPE in hot weather may have an impact on the ability of healthcare and social assistance workers to effectively perform their role.
